Our journey began one year ago, with a heartfelt conversation among veterans who shared a common concern: that the Falklands War was being forgotten. Recognising the profound importance of preserving this pivotal chapter in history, they resolved to ensure that the memory of their comrades' sacrifices would never be lost.
Led by Phil Jordan, our director and veteran of the Falklands War, along with Ian Blumbergs, our project manager, and Alan Montgomery, our communications manager, our dedicated team has emerged. Together, we are committed to crafting a lasting tribute to the courage and heroism that characterised the conflict.
Today, our project remains steadfast in its mission: to establish a Heritage Centre that will serve as a beacon of remembrance and education for generations to come. Through creating this centre of excellence, we strive to commemorate a nation-defining conflict and to honour the enduring legacy of those who served and sacrificed. Our goal is simple yet profound: to ensure that our veterans’ bravery and selflessness are eternally engraved in the annals of history, never to be forgotten.
